Launch the first UFC Gym in Qatar, then make it unmissable.

UFC Gym is the global pioneer of MMA-inspired fitness, tied to the authenticity of the Ultimate Fighting Championship. As the first club in the country the mission was to reshape the region’s fitness narrative under #TrainDifferent. I owned the marketing end to end: brand, memberships, community, events, budgets and a creative team. Year one closed at QAR 10M+ in sales.

01Built and launched the website with SEO, and ran every social channel from pre-sale countdowns to grand openings at 03 Mall, New Salata and 04 Mall, The Pearl.
02Planned and executed events that drew crowds, including a Champion Masterclass with UFC champion Islam Makhachev and the Khamzat masterclass.
03Ran always-on lead generation per club with Ramadan, White Friday and special-promotion bursts, and ladies-only campaigns for the dedicated sections.
04Produced the photography, video and digital ads in-house with a team of designers and coordinators.
05Tracked every membership by lead source and subcategory, so Instagram organic, Instagram paid, website and referrals each got credit for what they closed. Instagram organic became the biggest single source at both clubs.

UAE · Head of Marketing · Oct 2025 – present

One brand, three countries, ten clubs, one P&L view.

As Head of Marketing for the group I own the strategy and go-to-market direction for every club, the paid media that fills them, the content team that feeds the paid media, and the website and CRM that turn traffic into members.

01Lead marketing strategy and go-to-market direction across the UAE, Qatar and Kuwait, owning brand, performance and revenue across ten clubs.
02Manage a team of content producers driving in-house creative for brand and lead-generation campaigns.
03Optimise paid media to maximise revenue per club: MQL-to-SQL conversion up, cost per acquisition down 20%.
04Own the website and full-funnel digital performance, aligning creative, media and CRM.
05Plan and deliver events, launches and activations that build community and membership.
Kuwait · new market · 2025 – 2026

Open a country the way Qatar was opened, faster.

Kuwait is the third market under the group plan. Awareness before the doors open, pre-sale interest converted into founding members, and content, paid media and CRM live on day one rather than month three. Launch numbers will be added as the first reporting periods close.

01Positioning and go-to-market plan aligned to the group brand but written for the local audience.
02Pre-sale lead generation and founding-member offers, with sales on the same CRM from the first lead.
03Launch content produced in-house: club films, coach introductions and the first lead-gen ads, Arabic and English.
04Always-on paid media per club once open, budgeted and reported the same way as the UAE and Qatar.
What changed
Two clubs launched from the ground up in Qatar, a third market opened, and a ten-club group run on one plan.
Digital went from a third of membership revenue to over 60%, with Instagram organic the biggest single source.
Creative made in-house in days, not agency weeks, and every lead tracked to a membership or a lost reason.
